Nakehndan is an Indigenous-run organization, offering essential services to Indigenous community members in Sault Ste Marie and The Greater Algoma area.

Every ticket purchase makes a direct contribution to the organization.

DJ Seith has been constructing psychedelic musical journeys through hip-hop, funk, soul, rock and disco for the better part of two decades. His "Seith’s Tape Club" project from 2021 has seen worldwide acclaim from Skratch Bastid, Fresh Kils, Oonops Drops (Brooklyn Radio), Skeme Richards (Rock Steady Crew) and DJ Platurn.

For General Admission and Community/Student Ticketholders: Your name will be added to the Guest List at the door. SEATS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, except for accessibility needs which will be accounted for.

For Livestream Ticketholders: You will receive a receipt to your email. On the day of the event, you will receive an email directly from the streaming platform with the link and access code to view the event.

The livestream is for Livestream Ticket-Purchasers only.

We will send you an invitation with the link and passcode directly from the streaming platform the day of the event. We will use the email that is linked to the tickets, so if you are buying tickets for someone else, please be sure to include this as a separate order with their email, or they will not be able to tune in.

For those attending the physical event, pick up your copy of the book at the entrance!

For those tuning in via the Livestream, we will ship you your copy as soon as you put your order in. It should arrive in 1 week. Shipping information will be sent to you via email.

We will have accessible seating for General Admission and Community/Student ticketholders. Please indicate any accessible needs at the time of check-out, and we will accommodate your needs at the event.

There is a maximum of 1 book per ticket.

For those tuning in via the livestream, you will be able to purchase additional books on Vanessa’s website. The link will be made available during the show.

We do offer a Livestream Only option, that also includes a copy of the book.

The event is about 2 hours.

Doors open at 630pm.

Showtime starts at 7pm.

The event will feature an opening act, DJ Seith.

A “fireside chat” will follow with Vanessa Ferlaino.

At intermissions, we’ll hear from the team at Nakehndan about the organization and their work.

The evening will end with a musical performance by Vanessa, and then audience QNA.

There will be time after the show ends at the venue for a meet-and-greet and photo ops with Vanessa, DJ Seith, and Nakehndan.
