What You Can Expect From My Music
Music for me is where I feel the most liberated. There are moments while I perform when I step outside myself just to watch, and I think, is this me? Not because I think I sound ‘so amazing’, but because I know I’m singing from my soul. And that’s the sound I miss – because it’s not always easy to hear in modern society.”
My musical influences are characterized not by skill or talent, but by realness — artists who don’t get lost in being a “brand”, and whose craft evolves naturally with life. I absolutely love the work of The All-American Rejects; their journey has also inspired me greatly to commit to my own music. I grew up listening to them, Boys Like Girls, and Paramore — and they have all left lasting impressions on me as an artist. I also love artists whose music tells stories, like Billy Joel and Brandon Flowers/The Killers. Sara Bareilles’ raw vulnerability is powerful, too. You can also expect some contemporary classical piano from me, deeply inspired by Ludovico Einaudi. His music makes me feel things, and I hope mine does the same.
My music is a platform for change — inner and outer change.
My music draws from personal experience and observations of societal injustices, moving listeners to reflect and act.
Music is also about sharing stories, connecting with people, and making a difference. I actively connect my shows to philanthropic causes.
