Vanessa Ferlaino is an award-winning music and performance artist born in Baawaating (Sault Ste Marie) with Hispanic and Italian-immigrant roots. Her music is inspired by her multicultural background, sharing stories of navigating society and finding belonging in a divided world. Vanessa headlined Transform The Night, raising $3,000 for Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario. Her work as has been featured in national and international news outlets, including Rogers TV, New York Times Square Billboards, and more.
