Your Storytellers

Vanessa Ferlaino is an award-winning storyteller. She believes art is storytelling, and all storytelling is change. She is the Chief Storyteller Officer and founder, working closely with you as a guest, client, and more to ensure your story and authenticity is honoured. She also manages and runs all the day-to-day operations of Vienna Studios.

Vanessa is a writer, music artist/composer, and host/producer of The Human Challenge, airing on Rogers TV with other film projects in development.

Your story is already inside of you. Her role is to create a safe space for it to come out.

Jonna Bouliane is a Haitian-born, Northern Ontario–raised filmmaker, blending cinematic style with authentic, character-driven storytelling. Jonna has spent the last 10 years working across the camera department, steadily carving out a strong identity as a Director of Photography. Major cinematography credits include Lifetime feature film A Chef’s Deadly Revenge, as well as a wide range of narrative, documentary, and television work, including The Amazing Race Canada and TFO’s Couleurs du Nord. Jonna is producing and directing original web series, The Byward Heights, for Bell Fibe TV1. Jonna taught cinematography and production at the Weengushk Film Institute. Jonna graduated from Algonquin College’s film program.

Christopher West is a cinematographer, editor, and documentary filmmaker known for capturing intimate, character-driven stories with a natural, cinematic visual style. With a background in both documentary field production and post-production, his experience includes hand-held vérité work, drone operation, and lighting for documentaries and other branded content. Some of his work can be found on his Four Legged Films YouTube page. His first feature documentary, Par For The Course: A Soldier's Journey, was released on May 1st, 2024. He is now currently in pre-production for a variety of independent projects, as well as continuing his lighting technician role on film sets in the IATSE 634 region.

Shae McLurg is an independent Filmmaker, Director, Cinematographer and editor. With over 10 short films written, directed, shot and edited, he has immersed himself in a wide range of projects and creative challenges ranging from Short Film sets, Feature Film sets, Corporate Advertising, short form documentaries, Social media marketing and even Local broadcasting with Rogers TV. Shaes films can be viewed on his YouTube channel The 2shae Films, on RogersTV and in the upcoming Sault Film Festival.

We’re looking for an Editor/Colourist [Independent Contractor - Canada] to join our team to work closely with our Director of Photography.

We ask that you seamlessly handle multi‑camera and multi‑audio workflows across cinematic‑style productions, television series, and documentary projects.

You blend technical precision with cinematic and narrative-driven storytelling elements.

You are passionate about storytelling for change. Payment is project-based.

Anticipated start date: May/June 2026.
